The ingredients needed to prepare Banoffee:
  1. Provide digestive biscuits
  2. Get butter + 2 tbsp
  3. Use on condensed milk
  4. You need golden syrup
  5. Take Double or whipped cream
  6. Provide bananas
  7. Prepare Cadburys Flake
Instructions to make Banoffee:
  1. For the base, crush 16 digestives and add melted butter to set base in baking dish and refrigerate for an hour.
  2. Slice bananas and layer on base.
  3. Add 2 tbsp butter to pan at medium heat and once melted, add condensed milk then golden syrup. Don't allow to burn so keep stirring at low/medium heat until desired consistency. Allow to cool slightly then spread over bananas and allow to cool before refrigerating for another 1-2 hours.
  4. Whip up whipped or double cream with 2 tbsp sugar and spread over bananas. Sprinkle crumbled flake over the top.
