The ingredients needed to make Milk Braised Pork:
- Provide 6 Pork Loin Steaks/chop
- You need 1 chopped onion
- Take 1/2 Garlic
- Get Mushrooms
- Provide 200 ml Milk
- Take 400 ml stock of your choice
Instructions to make Milk Braised Pork:
- Chop onion and garlic finely and mushroom to desired size.
- If using chops remove meat from bone. Chop pork into slices
- Heat a deep pan with a little oil until smoking. Add onions, garlic and pork and brown for a few minutes.
- Add the mushrooms then a few minutes later add the stock and milk. I used chicken stock but would have probably worked better with pork if available,:-)
- Allow to simmer for 10 minutes the sauce should have reduced and thickened by that time. You can add a little bit of plain flour to help thicken if desired.
