  24. Take 200 gms chicken
Steps to make Mixed dal chicken sambar:
  1. Add all the lentils and dals to a pressure cooker. Add turmeric, asafoetida and water to it and cook for about 3 whistles. Once cooled, blend the dal and keep aside.
  2. Now in a pan add oil, once oil is hot, add all dry garam masala, then onions, once onions are translucent add tomatoes, then add all dry masala and cook until raw fragrance is mild. Then add chicken and cook for about 5mins. Add water or add extra water that's available in cooked dal.
  3. Close the lid and cook for about 10 mins. Add chopped mint and coriander leaves. Now add the masala to cooked dal and bring to boil. Add required salt and turnoff from flame. Finally, add lemon juice and serve hot with rice or any rotis.
  4. Note: Add any lentils as per your taste. The lentils which I have added give good flavor when it's cooked with meat. You can do the same mutton as well.
