The ingredients needed to cook Indian Spice Tea:
  1. Take 1 1/2 cup milk I used 1.5% fat
  2. You need 1 tsp black tea( any black tea will do )
  3. Provide 3 piece cinnamon bark
  4. Use 1 medium fresh ginger chopped
  5. Take 2 capsules of green cardamon
  6. You need 2 cloves
  7. Use 1 tbsp granulated sugar, you can adjust according to your taste
Steps to make Indian Spice Tea:
  1. Open the cardamom (we'll use both parts: the shell & the seeds).Break the cinnamon into small pieces. Peel & chop the ginger.
  2. Put all ingredients into a pot and put it on a stove with medium to high heat. Let the tea come to a boil and then let it boil for 2 minutes. When it starts to boil over, remove it from the heat for a couple of seconds. The tea should rise and fall several times. By this means it becomes a bit creamy. You'll notice that a noticeable amount of liquid will boil away, this is why you have to take approx. a third more milk than fits into your glasses.
  3. Strain the tea and enjoy!

Allow it to boil for a few minutes so the water gets flavored with the spices. This blend is made with Black Tea (caffeinated) Ginger, Cardamom, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Coriander Seed, Fennel Seed, Star Anise and Cloves. Masala Chai (Masala Tea) is the most popular version, and that is what you get when you order a "Special Chai" at any hotels, restaurants and cafeterias across India. Here's how to make Indian chai tea at home: Bring water, milk and chai spices to a simmer in a small saucepan on the stove. Reduce heat and add in black tea.
