Other times, though, comfort foods can be completely healthy and it’s good for you to eat them. There are several foods that, when you eat them, may boost your mood. If you are feeling a little bit down and you’re needing an emotional pick me up, try some of these.

Make some trail mix of nuts or seeds. Almonds, cashews, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, etcetera are all wonderful for elevating your mood. This is possible because these foods have a bunch of magnesium which promotes serotonin production. Serotonin is a feel-good chemical substance that dictates to the brain how to feel at any given point in time. The higher your levels of serotonin, the happier you are going to feel. 7. remove chops from grease when breading is nicly browned and chop is almost done. place onto a paper towel lined plate for a minute or two to soak up extra grease.
  8. meanwhile heat up your grill. place chops on the grill and coat both sides in the bbq sauce. cook for about 5 min. per side. coating twice during cooking.
  9. serve! I always serve mine with bacon fried potatoes and a veggie
  10. tip: if your grease isn't hot enough the breading Will get soggy and fall off.
  11. tip: if your grease Is to hot the breading will burn before the chop is done.
  12. tip: cooking for to long will make your chop dry and tough. but for thicker chops you needed to extend my cooking time. for very thin chops you need to decrease my cooking time.
  13. tip: to change it up you can use whatever type of bacon you like, applewood, regular,.low sodium,.peppered, etc..
  14. tip: if you use thick cut chops you will need 2 slices bacon per chop instead of one.

Season the pork chops with salt, pepper and a dash of garlic power on each side. Wrap the bacon around the pork chop, securing it on the side with a toothpick. Dredge the chops one at a time in the egg then the breading mixture, pressing to coat evenly. In large cast-iron skillet heat oil and butter over medium-high heat.
