- Provide 660 grams Sweet potatoes (Anno-imo variety)
- You need 10 pieces Chestnuts in syrup (store-bought)
- You need 2 Gardenia seeds
- Get 50 ml ※ Candied Japanese chestnut syrup
- You need 50 ml ※ Mirin
- Prepare 50 ml ※ Water from boiling the sweet potatoes

- Peel the potatoes rather thickly and soak in water for 10 minutes.
