The ingredients needed to make Pan Cake:
- You need 2 cup All purpose flour
- Provide 1 cup Powdered Sugar
- Prepare 1 cup milk
- Use 1 cup Homemade cream
- Get As needed Betel leaves 6
- Provide 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- Provide 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- You need 1 teaspoon Green food colour
- Prepare 1 teaspoon Pan essence
- Get 1 cone Whipped cream
- Prepare 1 tablespoon Icing sugar
- Take As needed Red papaya cherry for garnish
- Take 1 Betel leaf for garnish
Steps to make Pan Cake:
- Sieve all purpose flour, baking powder and baking soda 3 times.
- In a grinder add milk, 1/2 teaspoon green food colour and 6 chopped betel leaves and grind it well.
- Take homemade cream and sugar and mix it up well until fluffy, then add 1/2 teaspoon green food colour in it.
- Then add pan essence in it and mix it up with the mixture.
- Then add sieved flour mixture in it and mix it up well.
- Then start adding little little milk in it, and mix it nicely.
- Transfer the batter into the greased and dusted mould.
- Keep the mould into the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes
- Check with the help of the toothpick if properly baked, once baked remove the mould.
- Demould once cooled.
- Now cut the cake into two layers.
- Sprinkle some sugar syrup on a part.
- Take whipped cream in a bowl, now add the leftover green food colour and mix. Then add pan essence and mix it up well.
- Now apply the whipped cream on the part on which sugar syrup was applied.
- Keep another part on it and repeat the same process with another part.
- Cover the whole cake with cream
- Decorate with red papaya cherry and betel leaf.
